Service Description

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to: - Assess and plan implant cases with reduced alveolar bone volume, demonstrating clinical decision-making and risk management (Outcome B & C). - Understand anatomical considerations, timings, and surgical approaches for guided bone regeneration and ridge augmentation (Outcome C). - Select and apply appropriate graft materials and barrier membranes for socket preservation and GBR, based on current evidence (Outcome C & D). - Perform GBR and socket preservation techniques, achieving graft and membrane stability in a simulated environment (pig jaw model) (Outcome C). - Communicate treatment options, risks effectively to patients and the dental team (Outcome A & D).
